Terrific efforts from Judy Collings (1970), Sue Merg (1970), Shelly Safer (1971), Kim Wilmeth (1972) and Heidi Remus (1973) when handing out the ribbons to the place winners.
I don’t think the girls/women mentioned would be upset about being reminded 56 years later of a time when, to quote John Mellencamp, they could “Stop a clock”.

My belief is that the mark of 11 by Collings is not only a Bay record, but a Suburban Conference record as well. As such, I’m certain we can all agree that Judy’s mark should be proudly displayed on the Bay Track Record Board. Especially considering that with 11 events and 11 kisses, Judy batted 1.000.
